Play Music

The house is equipped with speakers in rooms and a Sonos system that allows you to access music and play it on the speakers. In each area that has speakers, there is a dial on the wall that controls the master volume.  These should always be turned all the way to the right if you are using Sonos so that you can use your app to control the volume.  If these are turned to the left, the volume will be much lower or you won’t be able to hear it at all. 

The zones are: 
Kitchen
Living Room
Master Bedroom
Master Bathroom
Loft 
Pool

How to access the Sonos App:

1. You can control sonos from your smartphone, tablet, and desktop computer. 

2. Download the Sonos App to your device. 

3. Make sure your device is connected to the SandE_FL wifi network.

4. When you launch the sonos app while connected to the SandE_FL network, it will let you know that Sonos “Found Sonos on your network.”

5. Click “Let’s Connect.”

6. Once you are connected you can add your own music services like Pandora or Spotify. 

7. Sonos Radio is also available if you don’t have your own music service account.

How to play music using the Sonos App:

1. Launch the Sonos App.

2. Click the center icon with vertical lines. 

3. Select the room you’d like to play music in. 

4. Select the music note icon.

5. Pick the music you’d like to play and press play.
